Art-Interplay bezieht sich auf das interdisziplinäre Zusammenspiel aus Musik, Tanz, Performance Zeichnung, Fotografie, Film und anderen Kunstformen.
Art & interplay wurde 2017 von Jörg Hufschmidt gegründet, um Erfahrungen aus verschiedenen Künsten zu einer multimedial performativen Aufführungsform zusammenfließen zu lassen.
Die oben genannte Besetzung begreift sich als ein in allen Ebenen gleichberechtigter Aufführungskörper, der durch die Verbindung der unterschiedlichen Herangehensweisen einen künstlerischen Wirkungskreis darstellt und durch das Wechselspiel von Strukturiertem und Improvisiertem Neuland betritt.
Eine Aufführung von art & Interplay zielt auf ein respektvolles Zusammentreffen autonomer Kunstformen, das durch ein reflektiertes performatives und musikalisches Denken der Akteur*innen erweitert wird.
Art Interplay refers to the interdisciplinary interplay of music, dance, performance, drawing, photography, film, and other art forms.
The ensemble “Interplay” was founded in 2017 by artist Joerg Hufschmidt to bring together experiences with improvised music, performance, sound art, and drawing in a multimedia performance format. The cast, featuring artist Joerg Hufschmidt, dancer Ingo Reulecke, artist Ulrike Schoeller, and musician Joachim Zoepf sees itself as a performing body that, through the combination of dance, performance, music, film, photography, and graphic drawing, represents an artistic sphere of influence that breaks new ground in the interplay between structure and improvisation.
A performance by Interplay aims less at the superficial confirmation of aesthetic attitudes than at a respectful encounter between autonomous art forms, which is expanded by the actors‘ reflective performative and musical thinking.
The themes of our working method are, on the one hand, the expression and translation of the artists‘ existential motives and motivations into other media and, on the other hand, the exploration of new forms of communication among themselves and with and towards the public.
